1. The Gospel is a constant invitation to step up. Constant. (I dunno about you all, but my step-up muscles are sore.)
2. Speaking Spanish is a lot harder than it looks.
3. The Spanish Branch is noisier than the English Branch, but the food is better.
4. Humble people come in all shapes, sizes, and languages. And some of them are even doctors. No kidding.
5. Children don't care if I speak Spanish or English. They just want to know if I have candy.
That's what I've learned this week. Impressive, no?
We went to the beach this week. We wore coats. But it was still good to be there to pick up rocks and sticks and through them into the water. It's not the ocean. But it will do. For now.
